With week three of fantasy football just around the corner, here are my start and sits for week three.
Malcom Floyd: Floyd went for 95 yards and a TD last week against the Jags. With the running game banged up, expect Rivers to look Floyd’s way early and often as his primary target after Antonio Gates.
Mark Clayton: Clayton has clearly established himself as Bradford’s favorite target in St. Louis. Two TD’s and 14 fantasy points out of him last week, I expect similar numbers in week three.
Jeremy Maclin: Two games, two touchdowns. Expect number three in week three.
Matt Ryan: After throwing three INT’s at New Orleans last year. I’m gonna pass on Ryan and look at my other options. Maybe give Sam Bradford or Josh Freeman a look instead.
Joseph Addai: The Colts’ running back was limited in practice on thursday, and although he is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against Denver, Peyton Manning and company will likely focus more on the passing attack than Addai. The Broncos have a solid run defense and these factors combined with the fact that Addai has a habit of leaving games early could lead to a long day for Addai owners.
Ryan Mathews: Mathews is listed as questionable on the team’s official injury report and is said to have suffered a high ankle sprain. That’s never good news for a running back. Mathews says it’s nothing serious, but I wouldn’t risk it.
